After a year of meticulous planning Dragonfly Therapeutic Retreat has now opened its doors in the BurJuman Centre in Bur Dubai, the commercial heart of old Dubai just minutes from the famous Dubai Creek and its captivating old Soukhs (open air markets).

Dragonfly @ BurJuman occupies the sixth floor of the luxurious BurJuman Centre and is conveniently located at the nexus of two new subway lines being built in Dubai. The Retreat caters to walk-in clients and members who live in the nearby residential tower, work in the office tower, are shopping in the mall – or may be staying in the adjacent suite hotel.

The Retreat features separate massage facilities for the comfort and privacy of male and female guests, as well as a common use Nail Spa and Relaxation room where guests may unwind and socialize before or after treatments. Offering 14 massage beds or chairs for the ladies, 9 for men, and a VIP Crystal House suite for couples, Dragonfly @ Burjuman can easily satisfy the needs of an individual or a group and cater to the sensibilities of the local customer as well as the foreigner.

The décor of Dragonfly @ Burjuman is a tasteful fusion of Asian design elements with strong Chinese characteristics – that reflects its origins in China’s most cosmopolitan city, Shanghai. From the moment you enter with a strike of the magnificent Chinese gong, walking past the antique Chinese obelisks that guard the antique Shaanxi door and down the corridor into your treatment room you will be sure that you have entered a different world – of relaxation and style.

Customers coming to Dragonfly @ BurJuman will be pampered by signature treatments such as our “Oriental Foot Massage” – a favorite for weary travelers in the big city, our unique “Top to Toe” that features an Oriental Foot Massage and a Head & Shoulder massage delivered simultaneously for supreme relaxation, and our “Wakey Wakey” treatment that brings comfort to air travelers to alleviate the effects of jet lag and travel discomfort. All services are offered by a team of 27 experienced Chinese therapists that have been handpicked from the Dragonfly retreats in Shanghai.
