New location opens in Gubei, Shanghai

Shanghai, PRC, 18 February 2005 – Dragonfly is pleased to announce the official opening of its new retreat, Dragonfly @ Hongmei at 3911 Hongmei Road (near Hongqiao Road) in Gubei.

This oasis caters to the growing international community in the area. Open daily from 11am until 2am, the location provides that feeling of having discovered a hidden gem as it’s nestled down a small European-style lane also featuring several restaurants with cuisine from around the world.

Of course, Dragonfly’s sophisticated style, service and treatments appreciated by clients at its other three locations are now available in Hongmei. Design highlights include an exterior rustic horse trough and a tranquil water fountain. The multi-storied converted house has seven day-beds for Oriental foot massages, 11 Chinese massage beds and two Japanese tatami suites. The piece de resistance is the Crystal House, a private room on the top floor for couples to share a more intimate experience. Twin canopy massage beds are the focal point of the room along with a glass walled shower. There is also a separate relaxation area for the period after the treatments have concluded.
