Dragonfly nominated for Day Spa of the Year

In a glittering black-and-red-themed cocktail evening at the Grand Hyatt Hong Kong recently, Dragonfly @ Forbidden City earned second place in the Top 5 pick for the “Day Spa of the Year” - proof that Dragonfly Retreats now rank among the finest in Asia.

The Baccarat AsiaSpa Awards (BASA) are considered the “Oscars” of the Asian spa industry and celebrate innovation in the Asian spa and wellness industry, recognizing creativity, originality and excellence.

Dragonfly @ Forbidden City, in Beijing, was nominated alongside a prestigious line-up of international contenders from India, Thailand, Hong Kong, Bali, Singapore and Macau. The selection was made by a panel of 26 Asia-based spa experts headed by AsiaSpa magazine editor Catharine Nicol and CEO Olivier Burlot and attended by over 180 spa industry professionals and personalities that included Dragonfly Founder & CEO Georgie Yam. Georgie was truly proud of the strong public recognition earned by Dragonfly, given its humble beginnings less than four years ago and inspired to strive for many more such awards in the future.
